There is a new Taiwanese release of Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou. If you get the deluxe version, it comes in a box set along with 5 postcards. Im looking into the proxy Superbuy to get one for myself. The cost (before shipping) is about $100. If you are interested, search 横滨购物纪行 典藏版 at TaoBao/SuperBuy.

I loved this movie as a kid, way more than ET. ET scared the SHIT out of me to the point I had night terrors. Not Mac though. He was more silly and less traumatizing (though his family are horrors straight from hell). Can't wait to rewatch it on VHS, the way it was meant to be seen

39/140 volumes of 月刊アフタヌーン Monthly Afternoon's Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou so far. Already got TWO duplicates so I had to create a spreadsheet to help me see what I already have. I love these books though, they have a smell sort of like... a library filled with phone books. Its kind of comforting.

Started the daunting task of collecting all volumes of Monthly Afternoon during YKKs run. Flipping through the first few I got today and I already found some interesting things, like an ad for the Alpha and Kokone figs, and YKK's serialization announcement.

Frost is the closest thing to snow I had growing up. I remember being a kid and seeing the back yard lawn almost pure white. I would walk around hearing the grass crunch. I loved it. And this chapter reminds me a lot of those winters. Also I love the panel of them looking up at the stars
