The fallout from the raid on a battery factory in Georgia is already being felt. There are a number of scenarios but none of them are as good as the status quo circa 10 days ago. US lithium-ion battery production will be affected, and the timing couldn't be worse. #energysky

The fact that tech lobbyists wanted states to be banned from regulating AI means states should immediately investigate why those tech companies think states SHOULD regulate AI and then regulate the hell out of it.

Same logic as 'read banned books'.

The #tariff pause is not a starting gun, it's a false start. Uncertainty means paralysis - importers scared to import now if tariffs go down, but scared to import later if tariffs go up. The #energystorage industry will be heavily affected - demand could be compressed.

Hey #energysky - anyone else reading the reconciliation text out of Ways and Means noticing some loopholes you could drive a truck full of #solar panels through?

I take no pleasure in reporting this but my wife has just pointed out BNEF your renewables outlook graph looks like a row of pencils #energysky

Report: Andor writers not sure how much less subtle they can make their story about fascism as right-wing Star Wars fans fail to see a problem with disappearing innocent people to prisons where no one can ever leave in real life.

I have bad news for the economy of the (checks notes) uh, planet?

#Solar and #EnergyStorage prices are going to be absolutely hammered by this but the impacts on the entire global economy are going to be so severe as to make the #energysky damages feel like a footnote.

A fire at a single substation knocked out all of Heathrow Airport. Early estimates are economic impacts in the hundreds of millions.

These damages are socialized, socialize the costs instead! Resiliency pays for itself with one of these incidents - but a system working doesn't make headlines...

Forecasted demand for the AI and Crypto bubbles is dramatically overblown.

Just absolutely baffling decision by CNN "underscored" the sponsored advertising arm of the CNN home page, to highlight an outdoor pizza oven, one of the most notoriously least-used things on the planet, as a "gift he'll actually use". Credibility erased.

My favorite is Batesian Mimicry - that other species already did all the hard work of evolving to look poisonous, I just need to look like him!

Shoutout to my Viceroy butterflies
