January 11th marks a significant day on our collective calendar - National Human Trafficking Awareness Day! This day serves as a crucial reminder of the pervasive and heartbreaking issue of human trafficking that affects millions worldwide.

Over the holiday, we received several calls to our tip line from citizens who had answered calls from scammers claiming the citizen had missed jury duty and needed to pay a fine. While this scam is not new, the latest twist included detailed personal information, making the call more believable.
