A great add-on to the base game, expanding upon what worked and introducing some fun new gameplay loops via Hyperspace. The additional Mega Evolutions are all pretty solid, and I really enjoyed the new characters and narrative.

Sakurai does it again, delivering a uniquely addicting racer with an absolutely wild amount of content. Every mode benefits from so much polish, and I have no doubt I'll be continuing to play it for years and years to come. A great early Switch 2 gem.

Saw the full thing for the first time, it was alright. I feel like it kinda misses the point of the OG a bit, not as much as the Lorax though. Jim Carrey had some great moments and the practical makeup was very good throughout.

Without question my game of the year, this is a game that truly inspires me to keep pursuing game development as a career. To call it anything less than a masterpiece would be doing it a tremendous disservice. Play this now if you haven't yet.

Another fantastic addition to this year's lineup of racing games, the CrossWorlds system adds a ton of chaotic unpredictability to a fast-paced arcade racer. With a wild roster of characters and tracks, this one has been super fun to play.

One of the best Pokémon games in years, the combat system here is very fun and exploring Lumiose always leads to things to find. Performance and graphics are spot on, and nearly all the new Megas are top-notch. Very impressed with this one.

Really consistently good throughout, maybe the most consistent material in post timeskip yet. Lots of good character moments and it really feels like the stakes of the story are starting to rise. Finally ready to get Wano started.

It was alright. Decent plot and some fun character appearances, but I feel like it missed the chance to explore some themes that would've fit into this timeframe in the story well. Also, CGI was used a bit which I found super distracting.

Mega Man 7 is probably my favorite in the classic series visually, so to see a fighting game with characters from the first seven games in that style was great as a fan. It's not mechanically complex but it's a neat piece of Mega Man history

Obscenely long, but oh so good. It somehow manages to hold onto a tense feeling despite its pacing, and features perhaps the best villain in the series to this point. Fights underwhelmed a bit, but I’m excited to see the fallout in Zou.

While it has some setbacks in content (and price), this is a great new step forward for the series, with really fun tracks and a fantastically expansive character roster. I look forward to seeing it (hopefully) continue to improve for years to come.

Great presentation in both the visual style and voice acting, and the selection of microgames is really good. Highlight was definitely the stages where you switch between the 4 types of games, those really kept me on my toes. A fun tribute to WarioWare.

Pretty good! I was pleased with how each of the F4 were portrayed, and the commitment to the retrofuturism aesthetic was really commendable. I would've appreciated some more creative uses of their powers, but otherwise, a solid new take.

A pleasant surprise. Character dynamics were pretty solid, and though Bucky and Ghost def felt underutilized, overall the team came together well. VFX wasn’t distracting, and it set up some intriguing storylines. Didn’t care for Val, but Bob was great.

Completely dull and predictable, a Captain America film where Captain America does little but react to Hulk-related events happening through one contrivance after another. Mackie, Ramirez, and Ford do alright, but there’s not much here

Mixed bag. Jackman and Reynolds have a solid fun dynamic, and its clear they're having a good time. It's unfortunate then that the rest of the movie is just devoted to shoving in endless cameos. Mindlessly entertaining and nothing really more.

Fantastic world design, engaging destruction and transformation mechanics, a fun cast, and a cute story make this another great game from EPD. Minor framerate issues aside, it’s a great graphical showcase for Switch 2 and an amazing return for DK.

An efficiently paced film, bolstered tremendously by the fantastic chemistry of the lead trio and a fun, yet sincere tone throughout. Solid supporting cast helps me overlook a pretty bog standard villain and conflict. Good sequel w/ a neat post-credits too

A really promising start to a new DCU. It may be very packed, but Gunn is able to craft a film that captures the feel of the comics more than any superhero film in recent memory. Clark, Lois, and Lex are fantastic castings, and the story is fun as well.

Realized I'd never played this one all the way through, so I gave it a go. Solid, if short game, and its impressive to see what they could accomplish with such an early Game Boy title.

Not hard to see why this is called a masterpiece. The story, characters, setting, they all felt instantly engaging, and the new magicite system really complements both the narrative and combat quite well. A truly fantastic game.

Though the story underwhelms and the game is far too long, the job system in this game is incredibly fun to experiment with. Mixing abilities allows for some wild combos, akin to TTRPG multiclassing, allowing for very fun battles.

While I found the first try at the ATB system a bit hit or miss, this was first FF game with a story and characters I could really get invested in, and I was really impressed by just how cinematic it all was. Best one thus far.

A really great update to the general system of the first game. I feel like I barely scratched the surface of in the job system, and the game still manages to include a more involved story like II. And moogles! A really solid game.

While I respect the interesting departure from the first game’s leveling systems, I think the changes ultimately hurt II’s combat. On the other hand, the story, while rudimentary, is certainly neat to see. Overall, it’s just okay.
