The really stupid caveat is that the automatic category tabs, easily my favourite feature of Gmail, also gets disabled by turning Smart Features off.
We have to make Gmail worse for ourselves in order to not have to deal with this crap.

My personal favourite from this clown saga was how they thought a one-time purchase of €40 was gonna be enough to keep the game running, only for them to realise that is definitely not enough, so they added a cash-shop with some of the most hideous skins you’ve ever seen.

part of the issue is that the "Save Metadata" button only shows up once you actually have edited it. I think that’s a Qt Widgets thing.
