Ultimately, the shows we make in podcasting needs to be greater than the sum of its parts. Audiences might be drawn initially to a show with a public figure or celebrity, but what compels them to stay? And what compels a media buyer to invest?

I recently got a Nikon F3 (!!) and waiting for my first roll of film to be developed. Really excited to see how this turns out, but trying to keep my expectations very low! If i get one decent shot I’ll be happy.

My other love in this industry is bringing people together. I don't care if it's gaudy club scene after party, a Valentine's Day kickback, or the Podcast Coffee Morning meetups I help organize... We need more, not less, reasons to get together, share our perspectives, and push our industry forward.

I was reminded about how much I love making print magazines during this time and had the idea of @goodtape.com, hoping it could become somewhat of a load-bearing wall in our industry.

I took this idea to Sami Witter and Alana Levinson, and together we made something I'm incredibly proud of.

This new site is gaining some traction, so I wanted to share some background on my work in podcasting.

TL;DR I've been in this industry for nearly a decade and bring a unique perspective that ~holds space~ for both the business and culture of podcasting—which can be at odds with each other.
