Ok cool. What's next? Are you gonna review the lamp shades they make out of the people the drones kill?.... wait, I think someone else did that war crimes already 🤔

You could still have it card themed! The miniature could be on top of a card or you could use a card based powe system or deck building mechanic aside from the core puzzle element 👍

I will ALWAYS appreciate any destructible environmental elements, especially when they use physics 🤌

Im also nostalgic for the old "battle chess" style games where the pieces slide around the board, but then animate an combat motion when attacking or defending

Absolutely DRIPPING with style. This will be a day one purchase for me when it eventually comes out!

Absolutely need to spin! And they should look like chunky tokens akin to the PS2 memory card icons

I'd give it a go if you've got a demo lying around 😏

I think its less about arcade games and more about rethinking that format. I would say rogue likes are kind of a new arcade. And if that works, then just look at how wildy popular and awesome that genre has become with stuff like Hades, Balatro, and Ball X Pit. Its all about the "just one more game"

Need I say more

You could also deliver the typical nuclear hot takoyaki and have a heat meter you keep charged with intense driving maneuvers. Pass/Fail if the recipient burns their mouth upon delivery 😂

Hell yeah! Looks like my favorite GI Joe vehicle when I was a kid

So are these themed on junk food? Or food rot elements like colored molds?

Just remember the tutorial doesn't need to be an info dump. Have stages based on increased complexity that introduce a couple ideas at a time. Or have a tutorial with chapters the player can use at their own speed. Most people playing this type of game are usually ready to read and learn gameplay

Watch any cooking based anime for inspo 😂

Ya, so roll with it. Fat and meaty looking monsters. Seasoning for power ups, oven mitt pointer, spatula attacks, frying pans, sizzling sound effects and tiny chef hats on things! Have fun with it

I would say its about consistency. If its got cooking elements, lean into that design. If its a monster battler, switch to something more rpg fantasy like

Screen never needs to change if the game is that good 👍

I think a spoof of Fox News would be great and you can call it Hawks News

Not to add more work to the pile, but you can always use the issue and turn it into a mechanic. No target? Gain back points, refresh actions, buff or debuff something 👍

It's true... I hate baseball 🤣 but seriously, what a fucking disgusting person.
