in addition to world at large being what it is, August has been a really hard month. Had to say goodbye to these two sweet furbabies. One was expected and one completely out of the blue and we won't ever know for sure what happened. They are missed everyday. Hoping September is kinder.

Saw this chalk art at my local park and the next day it and a few other similar ones were wiped away while the religious ones were left alone so grabbed some chalk to add some positive messages and more No Kings! Today we saw a few that people tried erasing but more added <3 Keep it up!

Positive note: Had a young neighbor who I've never met before knock on our door last night and gift us a box she had decorated with some trinkets inside because she wanted her neighbors to have something to smile about. It was the sweetest thing and helped restore my faith in humanity. #community

The fact that they're not even bothering to hide their actions and people are still defending them and making excuses baffles me... have to respect the people who need to limit their time thinking about this because stress but I want to scream and make it make sense... Which it never will...
