Similar here! I had 0 knowledge in knitting & took the next best thing, crochet, which i had 0.1 k knowledge in 😅.
In the end, I didn't had much trouble in making the knitting version. But maybe that's because multiple people in my family know how to knit and/or crochet.. Its in our blood I guess😅

I'm sorry for reacting this late. Having quiet trouble with doing that :'). But thank you for your kind words<3. Some of the fabric might've been from cheap pillowcases I found. Especially for the big ones. Finally managed to take a picture of some of those,with a 'original' size one for comparison

Hehe, there are so many more🙈. These are them (I don't remember if I have more or not tbh)
Right pile: they're done
Middle: (very) old ones or ones I used as keychains (wanted to test the durability of them)
Left: thin-ish fabric, still need to make hats for them to increase the durability

Ahww thank you so much <3. I'm not going to mention that's not even half of them :'D.. During online classes I would make them while listening to lectures 🙈. It helped me concentrate. (It was also my standard birthday present for people for a while xd)

Lastly, I made this one a few days ago ^^. Normally I would glue down the black fabric part, but this time I went the extra mile and sewed that one as well. I think it looks more finished this way ^^
But I think these are all the different kinds I've made? Aside from the larger ones..

Hehe, let me give you some more potential ideas😏. Because I still want to make a bigger one, but do some embroidery on it.

I use a similar for amigurumis! Well, I use 2.0mm, but it's bigger than a 2.0mm from other brands, so almost 2.5mm I guess 🤷🏻♀️🙈 But I like how the metal part is a bit longer ^^

I have never worked with a 0.5mm hook before, I should have one tho.. might try with a 1.25mm or 1.50mm first ^^.
