Something that makes me smile. My daughter on a horse in the autumn sunshine amidst the trees.

I wanted to stay home sitting in the comfy chair under a blanket sipping coffee and writing on this drizzly day. That didn’t happen, but matzo ball soup and hot pastrami on rye was a pretty good consolation prize.

Ha! Not a bad place to be. So I haven’t actually made the deck yet. I’ve been working on a “Tree Spirit Oracle” using my tree art for years but I’m also a mom and have a second full-time job. Last night I just created a card spread to use for readings. But this one is my favorite:

Do you know how long I have waited to be able to take a good pic of Mother Moon with my phone???

I only get a new phone every 7 or 8 years.

It’s a simple silly thing that makes me giddy with joy.

My spicy 🏳️‍🌈 17yo snuck out to my car last time I picked him up wearing an ill-fitting, old pair of these tights he stole from me. Didn’t want his dad to see him.

I bought him a new pair. His size. Thicker, like socks, so he’ll be warm.

This year, I had to grow our things in pots and containers on our front porch. I’ve never tried growing carrots in a container. We picked them yesterday and ate them for dinner. They were beautiful and delicious and we had enough for each of us to have two tablespoons 🤣
