I would say not everyone can and even folks like me who can probably shouldn’t as doing so keeps me in a flare cycle and doesn’t allow me the time needed to try to do the things that could help me heal. In general managing a chronic illness feels like a full time job in and of itself.

@eviemae.ink exactly we handed the GOP a win. They spit on the movement that the non-elected have been building! By handing this win without getting ANYTHING anyone supporting those 8 have demonstrated they do not care about the sacrifices real people have made.

I’ll never forget when a teacher told me that my client’s guardian couldn’t be trusted because she wasn’t a good historian. Turns out she was using the term aunt in this way and I had to explain to the teacher she wasn’t lying or being shady she just wasn’t white.

Just once I want a reporter to point out that he always seems unaware and lacking knowledge. I want them to ask him if he thinks he’s ignorant or just too lazy to do his job. We all know he’s lying but if they are going to take him at his word then it needs to be said.
