The final strife (and the rest of the triology) was my most recommended read of 2024. It’s on my reread list. I loved it!

It’s been on my shelf for a while and has been moved to the “25 irl already owned tbr in 2025” pile.

I’m a big fan of Rising Appalachia’s Medicine to set the tone. Or any of Kelianna’s chants.or Firebird’s Child by Sj Tucker.

*sarcasm (but with a touch of exhausted snarky realism)* Next we’re going to be pinning stars on our unemployed neighbors and deporting everyone since none of us are citizens anymore.

I don’t think so. I have donated fresh picked produce in the past and plan to do so again this growing season. We can grow so much food here I’ve started planting with intent to donate.

I haven’t made fruit leather in a while. Thanks for the reminder! I still have a batch of jam in the cupboard from last spring… so many berries!

I made 2 pies for the holidays and almost got thru 1 bag.
