Thank you Mr President! Everyone, we just have one job in 2026. Take back the house. If we could take back the Senate it would be great. But let's focus on taking back the house. One job. Let's do it.

Mama, I hate Twitter. But a friend on it showed me a post someone posted on the white house page of dumps Time magazine cover with a caption parodying a Tom Jones song (you're too young to know). "What's up PUSSYNECK, Whoa Whoa Whoa..." made me chuckle.😂 Love you mama!

I had missed Rock n Roll High School upon its initial release in theaters. Not sure why. That was a fun theater to see rereleases. I remember one being Fame and Flashdance on a double bill there. Although I had already seen Flashdance upon its release on a date.

Later as an early adults speaking of new world pictures, I saw a double feature of Rock n Roll High School and Fast Times at Ridgemont High at the Old Harvard Square Cinema. This would have been probably in the late '80s as the Harvard Square Cinema had amazing double features.

Kids growing up in cities had the grindhouses and I imagine kids growing up in rural areas had the drive-ins. We all saw the same stuff.

Yes, I tell you growing up in Boston in the 70s with something. There were so many grindhouses and my older siblings were always going to the movies on a Saturday and had to take me along. But I saw a bunch of exploitation/ horror films with them!

Big Doll House. Something about the film stock used for those Filipino Productions. I love it!

But it isn't fair to actually compare either of those films to the Warriors as the Warriors was a Paramount production with money behind it. Or at least it was a Paramount release I'm not sure if they financed it. But it has a slickness to it that shows that there was some money in the production.

Another low budget film I saw a year later I thought was going to be a big but it didn't hit. It was "Assault on Precinct 13". But, nope. And I think that film isn't as fun as switchblade sisters but it's overall in my opinion a better movie. But both are extremely watchable low budget films.

It was your basic exploitation fear of the 1970s. I don't think it could have been as big as the Warriors to be honest. Only because the Warriors is made by a much better filmmaker I have to say. Though I love Jack Hill. He's no Walter.

Love this episode. Was fortunate enough to see "Switchblade Sisters". in theaters when it opened in Boston. At the old Aquarius theater. Which is now the Orpheum. Seeing seeing it with my older siblings and their friends, at age 14 I loved it!
