Golden eagle again!!
Flying a bit lower today so the photos are little tiny better.
You can see the prey which eagle is carrying. When the eagle flipped over, she/he used one talon to defend and the other one to hold onto the prey.

Some photos from yesterday in Monterey Bay. We got to see the amazing marine lives in the rough sea before the wind picked up.
The hightlight of the day was where Pacific White-sided dolphin mixed in with Risso's riding the wakes created by the traveling humpback whales' nose.

My neighbor, a red tailed hawk pair, has been sitting on their eggs for a while. So they were very upset when a golden eagle flew by. I was not fast enough to capture the images well.
But it was cool to see the golden eagle spin and do some aerobatic maneuvers (of course I did not capture that).
