Hasbro is a marketing GIANT. They've dragged their Wizards of the Coast IP through the mud since before the OGL debacle. Independent creators rarely, if ever, have access to even a fraction of the outreach Hasbro has in the gaming industry.
I'd make a Monopoly joke but I think they own that, too.
