Along the way she uncovered the truth about her origins. She confronted the leader; a battle that ended with his death. Escaping severe retaliation, she finally returned to her half-sister like promised. But going back to an ordinary life and job was not easy when she was capable of so much more.

Cordelia was contacted by Housemother Childers on behalf of her half-sister. They informed her father dropped her off. She dug into their father’s past, discovering he was the leader of a group called the X-Assassins. Cordelia infiltrated their group spending the next five years with them.

After the attack on the children’s home, she put aside her social life to study civil litigation laws. She became an attorney at 22. Cordelia used to be sensitive hearing about injustices; her job taught her how to externally handle it.

At 7, Cordelia was made to live in the Lucky Children’s Home. Her father crossed his heart that they’d be reunited. Cordelia was somebody who everyone liked, but she did not feel truly close with anyone. Victoria was her classmate; sometimes she’d wonder if they could call each other friends.

She paints her face, wearing an antlered hat and fur pants. Cordelia’s preferred weapon is a crossbow. Her calling card is her victims having Xs on their chests.

Fixated on the term ‘cross one’s heart and hope to die’ Cordelia De La Cruz hunts down people who’ve broken oaths. Parts of her costume is made with real leather that’s covered in Xs and hearts.

Suspicion lies on She-Warrior, having been the last person to see them. Victoria herself seeks change after a therapy session (suggested by her mentor) and tries to be more outgoing, attending work events and joining community organizations.

Her real identity is Victoria Younger, a 30 year old fashion designer and recluse. As She-Warrior, she fights criminals, investigates mysteries, prevents crimes, and solves problems like expected. When her archenemy dies, a power struggle breaks out and she must deal with the fallout.

There used to be ultra-heroes watching the streets, but all have since disappeared since the 1980s (not important currently). Nearly 70 years later, only one hero has defied odds and works to lessen the crime rate. She goes by the name She-Warrior.

She-Warrior would become a household name.

Her good deeds attracted Agent Provocateur, whose response to vigilantes is always violence and fatality. Their battles culminate in the arrest and imprisonment of Provocateur, a feat that hadn’t been achieved until then. Victoria won the public’s trust and adoration.

When Victoria left the Children’s Home, she applied for a position at the luxury brand LaBelle and was accepted. As she climbed her way up the corporate ladder, she went out crime-fighting the first time.

Victoria was raised in the affluent Lucky Children’s Home, run by Prudence Childers. She never fully connected with her peers. Victoria struggled to socialize and understand cues, something she still deals with today.

She prefers a more strategic, logical and empathic approach to taking down her rogue’s gallery than her warrior-like presentation would suggest. The ring of the city’s bell signifies She-Warrior’s arrival or departure.

Her costume resembles Ancient Roman armour. She-Warrior’s equipment is a sling, grappling hook, caltrops, vine staff, and a long shield. When Victoria speaks as the She-Warrior, she softens and lightens her normally monotone voice to appear more comforting.

Victoria Younger is the only successful vigilante to exist in her city; the city having chewed up and spat out her predecessors the last 60 years. Her ordinary job outside of She-Warrior is as a fashion designer for LaBelle.
