I have finished Paine’s The Rights of Man. I give him an A+ on rights and a D- on economics and utopian fantasies.

As a historian I find the three essential studies of recorded events, philosophy and economics to be needed to apply to the present. Right now I am reading Ethan Allen's book "Reason" where he describes the religion of "natural religion". Quite polemic against all other religions
