Malcolm Gladwell is a great writer. It was nice to revisit this book, I read it in 2012. Jobs must have been a giant pain to work for, but exciting, too.

One of the best ‘religious’ type experiences I read about was a guy who took peyote in a legitimate ceremony and spent the next few hours being berated by his car for not treating it with the care it deserved. That, ladies and gents, is as real as when anyone says they were close to their god.

An amazing book. I read it when it was first published. I didn’t expect him to be as right as he turned out to be.

I enjoyed this episode, as ever.

On your point about it still being ok to travel to the US, some people who were imprisoned would not agree:

Any publication that pays Hannon to write for it must be immediately discounted. Why would anyone publish the ravings of someone who made such confident predictions about Brexit that have aged like milk. Every single thing he predicted was wrong.
