Do it! Quite relaxing, easy to pause, and eventually you get something pretty for the effort. Good luck with your kit!

Unsurprisingly I'm very out of practice but I've got some stitches in. Hopefully I'll be able to come back to this soon, I'll continue this thread (pun intended) as I go on

When I say "years", I mean it - pretty sure I got this kit before university, and I'm 40 now. I started it shortly after I got it, and continued at the rate of about ten stitches a year. I'm determined to finish it before I'm 41, so need to increase that rate a little

There's some strong @desertbus.org / @loadingreadyrun.com vibes going on here, which is great. Saw Marcus wearing a desert bus shirt in a vlog so not really surprised

Note the tiny blob of pink plastic - never had that before in a Lego-like kit, presumably some excess from the manufacturing process

Done. Cute kit, although the construction and quality of materials is a reminder of how good official Lego really is.

I've got several projects in mind, some entirely my own work, some kits. I think I'll post them here, just as a record, a little reminder of some quiet time. Probably a post or two a week, but hey follow along with me if you'd like.

The last couple of years have been a bit rough, getting very close to burnout and the like. So this year I want to spend a little time just doing small projects, just things to do with my hands with a stream or a podcast or something.
