When I was a kid I was disappointed that places were named after things you could find there rather than their shape. Shark bay should look like a shark. Kangaroo island should look like a kangaroo.
Now I'm an adult I'm not disappointed. I'm irate!

I try to be aware that sometimes change takes time to adjust to when a design updates but the 'Liquid Glass' in the new apple UIs is a god-damned abomination. And what the fuck is going on with Safari site headers colour bleeding into the menu. Eugh!

As someone who has spent their career fretting over every byte downloaded to a webpage and making it as efficient as possible, learning how LLMs work and how inefficient they are is maddening. No wonder they need 90% of the world's memory sticks. Pure idiocy.
