I’m beginning to think Party Down (2023) isn’t coming back for another season.

I feel like not enough people are talking about the terrible microphone technique on display throughout Nobody Wants This.

In days of yore, I bought one of the most useful tools I have ever spent money on - a transcription pedal. I'd plug it into my computer USB and could use it to pause, jump back 3 seconds, jump forward, etc.

I wonder how many cents I could sell it for on Facebook Marketplace in 2025.

As much as I feel for Pappas, who deserved a better partner who wouldn’t get compromised, I feel more sorry for the security guard at the bank who pleaded with the off-duty hero cop to just stay down.

From a consumer standpoint, I'm still shocked by the speed in getting big films onto streaming services nowadays.
(FYI, the film saw release in Australia 17 April).

What I'm trying to say is that I think I'm already in love with Rachel Brosnahan as Lois.

The Superman trailer delivered the most important thing it needed: It showcased an incredible Lois Lane.

Complaints Superman is hard to relate to "because he's so powerful" frustrate me. The superheroics and costume are all a misdirect. What makes him soar is Lois. The relationship grounds him.

Federal election day in Australia. Weird at my local booth to only find Labor and Greens. LNP haven't even bothered with bunting or fliers.

What does this mean for Australia on Saturday? The threats to Canada by Trump have made this a very different race. But... I thought this was interesting... while boomers have cited Trump as being their biggest concern, Zoomers have swung more to the Conservatives with cost of living top of mind.

Global News have called it for the Liberal Party. Not yet ready to call it a majority win. The Canadian coverage has been very polite and relaxing.

By "removed," do you mean...

Strong agree. Cinema is rich with so many great old, classic titles for you to discover.

Yeah, no Ms Rachel in my house. A couple of books that have proven very popular with my 3 year-old - Stellaphant by @jamesfoleybooks.bsky.social (I love this one), Life in Mars by @jonagee.bsky.social, and Dalmatian by Lucy Ruth Cummins.

The benefits of being a Telstra customer. Yes, that is an $11 higher than the standard price ticket offer.

This week's episode of Paradise (ep7). Incredible, bleak as hell television.

The power seat on The Media Club with Matt Deegan is quite clearly the seat on the right. That empty space to the side of the couch means all focus is directed towards the right.

Just stumbled upon one of those very rare Neil Patrick Harris dramatic roles in an episode of Homicide.
