I can very much relate with me too being on the autism spectrum. At least you and your son both know. I grown up not having a clue why I was different and why I struggled with certain stuff. There sadly isn’t much support but most people tend to be kind and understanding.

That is funny. It must be confusing for all animals, i remember talking to a guy on a dairy farm in Northern Ireland (more than a decade ago) and he told me his cows and all other animals were demanding their breakfast in the old time they were used to.
