So.. mom has to be red, tortie or calico and either be or carry dilute. Dad would have to be or carry dilute. If any of the reds are girls, dad would be red. If any of the blues are girls, mom will not be red, but could be tortie or calico. Any white? Would mean at least 1 parent is bicolor

Also not what I saiid. Sounds like you have a major reading comprehension problem. You really do need to go back and look up eugenics and really understand what the intent is behind it.

Stating that if you engage in unhealthy behaviors, you will become unhealthy isn’t eugenics. It’s common sense. If I smoke 10 packs of cigarettes a week, is it unreasonable to expect my changes of lung cancer will go up dramatically? That’s not eugenics.

Then you would 100% know eugenics had nothing to do with what I said. People who are into eugenics believe that the weak and ill should perish and that’s just nature. That’s not what I said and not what I believe.

One area, as an example is hormone replacement. Some of the original hormone replacement drugs were derived from animals, but they cannot patent as-is, so it must be chemically modified before if can be patented as a drug and sold as such.

Anything that comes directly from a plant or animal, as is, cannot be patented by law. Any drug they want to sell that is based on something that exists in nature, they have to modify in order to get about this restriction.

We’ve created a culture where people believe that disease happens to them out of the blue instead of being the outcome of poor choices. People expect to go to a doctor and get a pill and go back to potato chips on the couch.

And you make my point here perfectly- people aren’t even told about making lifestyle changes as an option. You are right that it is very hard to get people to change, but we aren’t even giving people the dignity of allowing them to make educated decisions. They simply aren’t told.

I feel like you missed my point. I’m saying that studies done that are done that are funded by corporations tend to be focused on where they can potentially profit. Compounds that can’t be patented tend to be disregarded.
I never claimed that every drug was about price gouging people.

I’ll bite. Because studies done backed by corporations become about developing products that can be profited from instead of finding cures. Because corporations sponsoring educational programs become about pushing prescriptions vs making lifestyle changes. Because we have zero focus on prevention.
