I'm planning to call back today and ask that the audio recording me put online.

I imagine I'll get the same thing as when I call every time. "Thank you, I've made a note of that. I'll pass that along."

I let his staffer know that it seems disingenuous to have a "town hall" that:

-Isn't listed on the website.
-Announced less than a day in advance.
-Occurs days after he was in district for a fundraiser.
-Has no public call in or confirmation.

I told her that it seems like he's avoiding us

It's worth noting that I've never gotten one of his newsletters since I signed up weeks ago. His staff always tell me they'll my coming in a few weeks, so I have low expectations on getting any real information about the "town hall."

At 10:12AM yesterday, I called Congressman Knott's office. I was told there were some technical difficulties and got an unenthusiastic apology from a staffer.

I was told that a summary would go out in the newsletter in a couple of weeks.

I forgot to update this thread yesterday, but I did the things.

First off, I contacted three other folks that I shared the "town hall" with. None of them signed up which I think was the intent behind announcing it so close to the event. Everyone was busy and couldn't hop up at the last minute.

More updates tomorrow when I call his office, but right now I'm very angry.

I've been asking his staff about a town hall when I call. I emailed about it last Friday. To have one announced on such short notice with no call in number/we'll call you feels like deliberately deceiving constituents.

Now fifteen minutes past the start time. I'll give them another five just in case there's actual technical difficulties, but I expect we've been lied to.

I'd guess they let in a few curated callers and we'll get an update on his website tomorrow talking about how he did a "town hall."
