It’s similar to why we no longer use “gay” as an insult, (like, “his shirt is so gay.”) Because when we use “gay” as an insult, we are implying that it’s *bad* to be gay, and that hurts actual gay people.

And that hurts *everyone* who shares those characteristics, including all the *good* people who have small penises or are fat, short, balding, etc.-

When you mock somebody for something about their body, like that they have a small penis, or that they’re fat, short, balding, etc., then you are implying that it’s *bad* for somebody to have those traits-
