9/Last November, right before Thanksgiving: a Tesla Cybertruck crashes into a tree and a wall in Piedmont, California. In the vehicle were four college students, all home for the holidays. The first person on the scene was a friend who managed to bust a window save one person. The other three died.

8/Last November, in Dane County Wisconsin, in a Model S: five people dead. I have read a lot of crash reports over the years and this really stood out:

4/Max and several other bystanders frantically pounded on the windows with any tool they had: fists, a water bottle, a screw driver, Max's knife. Finally, a fire truck arrived--the same one Max regularly worked on---and he was able to grab his Halligan tool and breach the cabin

1/ What is this photograph?

It's a custom-made mask fitted for a software engineer in northern Virginia who suffered third-degree burns on her face when the Tesla Model Y she was in crashed and caught on fire. A heroic crowd of bystanders could not open the doors

Max Walsh, a firefighter in northern VA, was off duty when he saw the smoke and got the alert about a vehicle fire with entrapment. The Tesla Model Y was on fire and crumpled against a pole. The doors would not open. Max busted the windows www.bloomberg.com/features/202...
