Very cool paper from Kenji Kitamura and co-authors estimating #ECD status with telephone vs. in-person interviews. Using @unicef.org #ECDI203 in Nepal, they find similar results across (randomly assigned) modality. Phone interviews are a reasonable approach!

Many negative things are happening in the world, but so much good as well. @danacmccoy.bsky.social, Jorge Cuartas, and I wrote a research letter in JAMA Pediatrics that shows #nurturingcare for children worldwide is getting better and these improvements are linked to better #ECD.
