Was just thinking about how fortunate I was last spring to see Thomas Moran’s iconic Yellowstone Falls painting. It’s hard to overstate the impact this work had on shaping of our National Parks. The painting had been in the Whitehouse for decades. Our public lands are under more threat than ever.

I got this Smokey back in ‘87 on the first camping trip with my girlfriend (now partner). He’s been traveling around the country with us since, modified I. 2016 to resist, of course!

This amazing little elephant always makes me smile. Such a fighter, and doing better every day. #bani

Quiet time in the woods this weekend. Wish I could just sit down here and take in the sounds for a week or two.
