The captain of the zeon ship was also some level of nu-type that fought alongside char during the war and has been looking for the red gundam this whole time. That might give better context to the episodes, which were in the movie after char disappeared.

In the movie they released there's a prolog of major events that were changed in this AU. Char went on the scouting mission into side 7 and stole RX-78-02. Later during a major fight he just kind of vanishes through space and time with the red gundam after seeing the sparkles.

Even if it WAS just "complex and messy" you conceptualized, created and tuned pieces that people felt something about. At the end of the day that's all that truely matters. We love it, as long as you enjoy the process we'd love to see you keep creating.
