You are absolutely right. I didn't try to find excuses. I described the status quo. UK should have stopped germany in 1938 and Europe and the US should have stopped russia in 2022/23. That is true. But they both didn't had the will, nor had the europeans the material. Europeans sleep until today.

I think they have learnt the lesson and would do more, but they have not enough money nor equipment. Same as france. Words yes, power no.
Germany still has money, but not enough production capacity and it is too slow and it has a weak will.
I'm very afraid of ukraine falling.

But, If ukrainians want to agree to a "peace" with russia, of course, they should. A quick ceasefire would be better, I guess.
But anyway, the most important thing is: No decision on Ukraine, without Ukraine.

As the genocidal thugs are fond of saying, peace will only come once the root cause of the war is eliminated.

And the root cause is the Kremlin's imperialism.

If russia wins, peace will not come: war will simply move to another country. Peace requires total Ukrainian victory. No other choice.

That might be an explanation. The given numbers of 4-7 or 10 per km is just the first line. The rest ist further back because the kill zone is of 20km depth. Poor guys in the first line. That Takes real bravery.

Thought absolutely the same right now. There must be 100s of thousands of reserves, or the same amount of dead and disabled soldiers. I don't get the numbers. How many are watching the frontier to Belarus? 1 per kilometer?
