3 whooping cranes a critically endangered species taken last fall in the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge. They are part of the reason these lands are so important to the world.

Whopping Cranes in one of my favorite places the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge. Only approx. 800 of these birds in the world and here in Wisconsin we are blessed to have about 70 of them. This is what we can lose if our federal lands are sold off and developed.
