This old oak door in Port Townsend has seen it all. Deep carved wood and dark brass, standing through time like the old men made it. Bezos talks of one-way & two-way doors, but this one just watches the trade wars and politicians come and go. A damn good door that doesn't care either way.

Alright! Found a van, Ford Transit high roof. Build has started. First install over the weekend was a Flatline Van Co roof rack. Super impressed by build quality. Will likely look at them for rear door hardware (box / ladder) when we get to that phase.

Made it back to the same spot with a Sprinter rented from Outdoorsy. 10/10 will come back again.

Thankful for the Vermont and New Hampshire road crews that made possible my drive to Boston in a Kansas-plated rental car. Easily a dozen cars off the road - all minor and attended to minus the one person attempting to “speed and power” it back onto the highway.
