This will no doubt be an incredibly stressful time for all involved. Hopefully they will have some support available to help them through the whole lengthy process. On a positive note at least they have some excellent representation!

Importantly, witnessed incivility has a more detrimental impact on empathic people, and this matters in healthcare because it disproportionately affects the people who could provide the highest quality care. (Shout out to Civility Saves Lives and their amazing resources).
