I'm just a guy trying to be a good dad. I also have a 1958 Airstream Flying Cloud in my back yard that I'm trying to find time to restore and/or renovate.
I sealed the edges of the plywood with a slow curing epoxy made to soak into the wood fibers. The floor is then insulated with rigid foam. And, a new belly pan was fabricated. Then new aluminum c-channel was fabricated from undrilled unistrut.
