Shut up Steve you fucking plank.

If only we had £100 mill of attacking talent with fresh legs on the bench that could have helped keep momentum up…

21 of those 22 cards for taking too long over throw ins.

Buy the media, control the narrative. Then control enough people you start to control the money and then we’re all fucked. The right have spent years playing this game whilst the left seem to think we’re still playing by gentlemen’s rules and the good guys will win out in the end. Dark times ahead.

They’re ahead of schedule because they’re really good, but that means the schedule has shifted. Otherwise, logically, you’re holding them back. They did their part when called on but now struggle for minutes so not sure that it will be much consolation.

You’re welcome.

Is it just me or do these fucking clubs always treat a match against us like a cup final? Villa, Newcastle, Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool… even Spurs (tho not this year). City has the Pep-Arteta thing. Every bloody match opposition seem to have a beef with us and play out their skin to prove a point.

Zubimendi picking up such an early card, for example I think, had a huge impact given his role in needing to help shield an untried CB pairing. So much more difficult when you’re skating on thin ice. Yes, sometimes you have to take the card but we need to be smarter and realise it’s not every time.

Any concern over the number of dumb bookings we get? Yesterday Chelsea were way more aggressive yet we end up with so many more cards. In honesty most you can’t really argue with as they were to break up play. We’re too keen to ‘take the booking’ when the situation isn’t actually that dangerous. 1/2
December 1, 2025 at 9:23 AM
Yeah, but we make some really dumb fouls. Ones to break up counters when there isn’t really one on. We get kicked loads but the fouls we give away are the classic ‘didn’t give the ref much choice’. I get there’s sometimes a need to take a booking but honestly needs looked at.

I thinks it’s a brilliant plan and they should definitely stick to it 🤣
November 23, 2025 at 5:39 PM
Sorry, think laying all their on-field woes at the door of this tragedy is lazy and disrespectful. So many systemic problems, poor decisions and some baffling strategy. There’s nuance here. To use the awful Jota situation to give a pass to obviously unrelated issues is very poor form.

It was a 5 yard pass. Hardly fucking Maradona 🤦‍♂️
November 17, 2025 at 1:42 PM
So everyone has to like it because very occasionally a small team scores a goal against a big team? “Elitism” if you don’t find joy in something that you have literally nothing invested in? Hot take.

The reality is irrelevant. Keep repeating the lie, the lie get broadcast, the lie become truth. His supporters hear this, it plays to their bias so not like they’ll fact check it (too busy painting roundabouts), the lie becomes a then repeated fact.

With no press scrutiny, we’re completely fucked.

We always struggle against a low block, and Sunderland scoring first should have made it even harder. However, we got aggressive, pinned them back and looked great even with key players out. Don’t want to throw the baby out with the bath water but time to loosen the old handbrake a touch?
November 9, 2025 at 11:22 PM
Wotcha. We played so well when behind, forcing the issue, pushing them back and creating a raft of chances. Rather than waste much of the first half passing sideways, do we need to force the issue a bit more and trust our defenders to keep the back door shut? Our players are great - let them play!
November 9, 2025 at 11:05 PM
Fresh legs and minds. Trust the team you’ve assembled because if he doesn’t feel he can then that’s on him. Thin on the bench but that’s only going to be more exasperated by ragging the arses off the ones he won’t take off.
November 9, 2025 at 7:25 PM
Years of right wing bias, nothing. Do something that could be seen as anti-right wing, get fired. How very on-brand for them.
November 9, 2025 at 6:32 PM
Is stale possession arguably not our style anyway? I presume it’s not quite the plan but the safety first thing definitely features. That first half did play into their hands but we’ve seen that half repeatedly. Only when we were losing and had to force the issue did we become *good*.

Photos of men on the internet your thing? When you’re not pissing on others chips online or pretending you’re in the Tour de France of course.

Nice to see the fun police out in force. Cyclist being a dick - shock horror.
November 1, 2025 at 4:24 PM
Yeah, sorry about that. Let us know what we’re allowed to enjoy if you can. Honestly 🤣
