Knew it

I read it more as curiosity about the situation cause for all of them the extermination without their input and one morning, we told hell their army's leader. I would also wonder what the king off the other nation is doing. But hey, if Viv tweeted about it, then I'm wrong.
January 7, 2026 at 5:34 PM
Genuine question, do they think he did on purpose ?
I don't remember hearing any angels in any of those scene even alluding to his motives.
January 7, 2026 at 4:37 PM
But from what we know (the actions, the consequences, and the punishment), I hardly see anything adding itself to make that decision that much unfair. But I could be proven wrong, so I'll see.
January 7, 2026 at 3:06 PM
You know what, maybe. Guess my opinion will change when more is revealed.
January 7, 2026 at 3:01 PM
Fair on that one
January 7, 2026 at 2:59 PM
The two events are both under completely different circumstances and contexts; I'll treat them individually under different lights because that's what they are.
January 7, 2026 at 2:56 PM
Yeah after the laser had hit Heaven and the conflict was at the door
January 7, 2026 at 2:53 PM
For punishing Lucifer ? Until then yes. If for extermination ? No, for that they need to be held accountable.
January 7, 2026 at 2:51 PM
Yes that why I said I'll maintain my opinion until we get more details.
January 7, 2026 at 2:47 PM
Thing is Sera did listen to Charlie, she even asked Emily if it's worth it to continue and they do continue. If she didn't wanted to hear Charlie out, whe would have denied Emily demand as well but she didn't.
January 7, 2026 at 2:46 PM
Then we'll wait for the greater details, until then I maintained my opinion on the whole situation. Cause in my opinion, Lucifer did cause all of that and still earn his punishment fair and square.
January 7, 2026 at 2:44 PM
Because we don't know what could have warranted this kind of reaction from them. And for now, personally, when I look at Lucifer's creation (the goetia and presumably Hell's government), I can see how that kind of creation, if it were similar to one in the past, could lead to ostracization.
January 7, 2026 at 2:39 PM
Charlie at that point, had no proof of anything. What she showed wasn't proof of redemption as in "sinners rising to Heaven". It wasn't stubborness, it was just not a proof enough. (My opinion obviously )
January 7, 2026 at 2:34 PM
But we can't assume that Vaggie was standard procedure cause we know that it was literally solved in a back alley without judgment. But you know what, fair, I could be wrong
January 7, 2026 at 2:31 PM
That decision was taken under the assumption that Lilith was leading an uprising ( we still don't know if it really happend) and the impossibility of redemption (never proven until the series happens). That recontextualize it but Lucifer's fall, what is there to recontextualize ? gen/
January 7, 2026 at 2:28 PM
We don't know that. We don't know how much of an outcast he was. And still that doesn't make him freeing evil and creating Hell (by accident, I know) any less of his own actions. Nobody manipulated him (as far as we know).
January 7, 2026 at 2:20 PM
Depends; all we know is that they labeled him a troublemaker for actions we have no knowledge of and fired him from the humanity project. Nothing particularly violent physically or mentally. It could entail more, but we don't KNOW more.
January 7, 2026 at 2:16 PM
While I agree all of this is my interpretation. The extermination and Lucifer's punishment are two diferent events.
The consequences of Lucifer's actions are very observable, whereas Lilith (possible) uprising + the lack of evidence for redemption, lead to the extermination.
January 7, 2026 at 2:12 PM
Personally, I will wait for the series to confirm anything. Cause the 6 angels we saw clearly were seraphim, and I don't believe the redesign excuse. They were all too distinct to be placeholders.
January 7, 2026 at 1:57 PM
On top of that, before 7 years ago, Heaven didn't seem to interact with Hell at all. We can't put all of Lucifer's suffering on Heaven's back as if they would laugh about it like villain. Btw, I acknowledge his clear depression, but still, his actions were his, and he reaped what he sowed.
January 7, 2026 at 1:54 PM
But Lucifer doesn't consider the sinners. Viv herself said he only cares about his family and his hellborns. Nobody is stopping Lucifer from improving but himself. There is no angel coming down to beat him down or berate him every time he tries to do better.
January 7, 2026 at 1:45 PM
I won't lie to you; the answer to that question depends entirely on how much of a fuck-up freeing Evil was. We can argue all we want, but Lucifer's actions change the way the universe works, and he doesn't seem to have asked anyone before doing that.
January 7, 2026 at 1:40 PM
You act as if Lucifer is incapable to do to better his situation but he can and doesn't. Cause for him sinner wasted his gift of free will. You can call it cruel but for everything his action provoked, the seraph with the power to create life without limit reap what he sow. ( Sorry for the rant )
January 7, 2026 at 1:25 PM
His punishment was to take care of the thing he created; he has all his powers, and he's still able to create life (the goetia, who are magically powerful themselves).
We still don't know what the angels thought of what Lucifer's motives were, and his punishment is hardly harsh as to the conditions
