In South Africa, we only have 4 months and 10 days paid leave, split between the "birthing parent" and "non birthing parent".

Formal law still says maternal leave is 4 months and paternal is 10 days, but it's being adjusted.

And more specifically; not enough of said exercise.

He is, made more obvious from all the combing.

He genuinely believes he is owed sniffs of everything you might be eating. He yells at you then sulks if you don't cooperate. This means I some times have to stop doing the dishes to let him sniff at a sudsy cup.

Yeah, I've been holding out a hope that it being so fundamentally derivative would sort of prevent that. It would be so validating if that held true. But I had expected it to remix fast enough to throw out something significant by now too.

My personal favourite brand of microcosm in the AI dirge is the 'several automated parties feeding each other and becoming' more alien in recursion, with shrimp Jesus being way up there.

I personally think we're going to see a heavy and wild swing back toward declaratively human made work, like the poster design of the 60s which became less and less legible to evoke engagement. We're going to see worse graphics by smaller teams because the smooth and polished has become disposable.

My argument is that it disproportionally impacts minority genders (makeup expectations, expression), multiple ND brain types, and aggravates potential class disparities (showing your home/ family in bg.) Wouldn't you rather want all that wasted energy for the project, or let folk keep their peace?
