In #Burma, on every road, path, and cow cart trail…there are well placed “Zayats”……Places to Rest.
Each one has a structure under the shade of trees, and ceramic jars of water for people to drink. EVERY WHERE YOU GO, THERE IS A ZAYAT.

Motorcycles and Rhinos
Exploring #Chitwan National Park in #Nepal, and took a tiny little path down to the river. Literally ran straight into a Rhino. Somehow the Rhino got between me and my bike. Ha!!!

One of my greatest friends and teachers in life made me a slingshot. A slingshot is an essential part of life in Burma. My dear friend died, but I still have the sling shot. It needed repairing, so his son and wife did the honors.

Our Vihara Valley Farm is in the Dry Zone In #Bagan , #Burma. Famous for growing peanuts.
We grow #organic #heritage peanuts, and then cold press them just like you see in the pics. Every part of the process from soil, seed, and oil we do by hand.
*plus a cow!!!

I eat what’s offered! Ha! When you travel and live elsewhere as much as I do, one has to be pretty open.
Yesterday was peanuts in the village day….
