It is truly fascinating to see the lengths Zionists will go to in order to defend pro-Israel antisemites.

Scroll through the @boardofdeputies.bsky.social feed and there's nothing on Farage, but they're still defending Macabbi fans, attacking the police, the BBC, the NHS...just fascinating!

Yes and 'defect' is a rather grand description for someone who doesn't have a job.

This clip aired in 2016, invoking a culturally loaded villain in comparison to Corbyn, in the middle of the Labour leadership contest.

There is no comparable example of Newsnight doing this to another politician.

I give up.

Aggressively petitioning to join a US dominated NATO (a historically violent coalition), raising the real possibility of an extended border to Russia's South that could have US military hardware stationed, was not 'peaceful'.

Just obscene levels of naivety on show here.

I have repeatedly stated that Russian leaders belong in the Hague, that the invasion was illegal & war crimes have been committed.

It's you & most others on this thread that are terrified by a narrative that tries to add any context beyond 'Goodies vs Baddies'.

The real world isn't like Star Wars.

Ask yourself objectively, why can you not bring yourself to engage with any other causal factor than Russian Colonialism?

Sure, it's a significant part of the story, by there is so much more and you seem to have an absolute mental block on engaging with it.

The road to war is rarely black & white.

You've well and truly lost the argument there, and using sexual assault to make a political point is low.

Understanding the background context to Ukraine is critical in understanding US geopolitical destabilisation from South America to the South China Sea.

That doesn't excuse Russia in any way.

You know what I am not disagreeing with anything you say about Russia - You might not believe it but I despise the actions of Russia as much as anyone.

What you, and everyone else who has tried to shout me down on this thread refuse to acknowledge is that that is not the only narrative at play!

You'll find it interesting reading into Euromaidan, Victoria Nuland, the politics that Viktor Yanukovych was pursing, how he was forced from power (eerily similar to many US backed regime changes), what the Crimean autonomous parliament & public wanted,& the subsequent Russian annexation of Crimea.

There isn't space to list the evidence for US involvement in Ukrainian democracy since the 1990's, but it's a long history you can easily research.

You're cherry picking your evidence too, for only 4 short years since the 90's has Ukraine not been pursuing NATO membership with all its efforts.

Two things can be true at the same time.

"Russia's invasion of Ukraine is an unprovoked illegal war of aggression" - I totally agree.

However it's willfully naive to see all other parties (including the Ukrainian leadership) as totally innocent.
