I know it's well past the point for them. Ubisoft is garbage. But there was an opportunity early on to branch out to do side projects for potential franchise cash outs, and give the core IP you own a chance to breath.

I know it's probably like a creative freedoms thing but it's like Star Wars.
Imo, EA has no business being the pick on Star Wars. But a bunch of those games did well for them, and they got access to source material, etc.

Like, I recently tried out Predator Concrete Jungle on an emu recently and...
You could have just done Ass Creed 3, but with the Predator.
1 less voice actor to pay, open world assassination gameplay. The tools are right there! They could have been a Fox properties developer.

one of my favorite aspect of Kare Kan comes from how good it is at exploring why human relationships are essential to understanding and accepting yourself and just how lethal it can be to get stuck in your own vision of who you are.
