And to tie it back to the main point about unemployment, would more game devs be employed if games cost more? I am not so sure - people might buy fewer games? Same amount of dollars in the system but going to fewer studios/games.

But Wind Waker sold 4.4m Gamecube copies at $50 and Breath of the Wild sold 33m Switch copies at $60. (source: vgsales.fandom.com/wiki/The_Leg...) Doesn't the thinking in this thread ignore the much larger market for video games now that offsets inflation and increased development costs?

I think it needs to be on a new or heavily revised engine. But seems like they have been putting a ton of work and money into it so I'm optimistic
