We are deeply saddened to hear the news that John Prescott has died. John was a staunch defender of local government & a passionate supporter of devolution. He was a great campaigner who will be missed by so many in our Party.

In a snowy County Hall today for the Place Scrutiny Cttme meeting focusing on the response to #StormBabet.

I questioned Council's flood team, Environment Agency and water companies to ensure lessons are learned after the devastating floods that affected 1,700 homes and tragically claimed a life.

From X to BlueSky: trading questionable algorithms, bigots and bile for freedom, civility and fresh air. Hope this move is as refreshing as it sounds. 👌🏼🌹

Livestock are treated better than commuters in High Peak.

The services provided by Northern are not good enough. Cancellations, delays & overcrowding are commonplace.

I’ll be raising these issues at a meeting with management at Northern.

We need improvement & fast.
