Reminds me of One More Time.
The biggest irony is that I went from a 2020 Subaru Forester which played parametric stereo perfectly to a 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander that doesn't. Vehicle upgrade, radio downgrade. They either have no idea what they're doing, or it's a deliberate push towards Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.

Speaking of tech issues impacting multiple radio stations... it seems there are so-called DAB+ receivers kicking around that can't decode parametric stereo (part of the HE-AACv2 profile standardised in 2006 and used in DAB+), rendering stereo content in mono. My 2024 Mitsubishi included. Shameful!
