Editorial Costs: Meanwhile, it's worth noting that editorial costs now account for nearly 37% of publisher budgets, up from 28% in 2023. This increase is arguably a reflection of efforts to deliver distinct content and the creation and launch new verticals. 10/12

Press Freedom: There is an increasing number of attacks on media freedom globally, including online harassment, cyber-attacks, and physical violence against journalists. This is a significant concern for the industry and something the report highlights as a key area that needs addressing. 9/12
