Long time listener, first time caller. Got a cheapie compressor pedal from Santa. Never used one before, and while I’m not saying I have wasted my life up until this point (which I have) it is already proving to be surprisingly useful

The #Fender amp is back from the repair shop looking and sounding marvellous. That said - having the power valves crap out after one year of relatively sedate home use doesn’t inspire confidence that this £1000 bit of kit is going to go any sort of distance, which is not how it should be

Climbed on the hype train, waited a few months to get hold of one and was… underwhelmed in the first few minutes. The headphone mix takes a bit of dialling in, but other than that it sounds great & is super-responsive plugged into just about anything with a speaker 👌

Updating my ‘guitar amp and effects in a small bag for band practice in the shed’ by swapping out the still-useful but heavy PodXT for the even-older-nowhere near-as-good-but-still-fun Korg Ampworks proto amp modeller. Sounds pretty good through the little Blackstar tiny stack all told
