"Pep In Your Step and Annie Field have balked at the water, and Red Army is out in front. Many will ask questions about whether or not this is fair. They’ve worked on jumping more than any other horse, and are now the best at jumping." 🙌 Today's blog is a collectable. Do an NFT already!

"I’m just trying to be helpful,” he said again as the packed audience began to disperse. Hmm. If this is him being helpful, I dare say Starmer wouldn’t want to encounter him when he’s being difficult." 😍 *likes*

was chatting to an elder, a Zimbabwean nationalist now based in the "diaspora", who shall remain nameless; his option when the shit hits the fan where he is based is Curacao. i asked why C., it seems randomly precise. They speak English, there are no hurricanes, it's European but not really... 🤔😂

sekuru Gordon argued that people were being killed by witchcraft but those responsible are escaping justice because if you accuse them of being witches/ wizards, they will use the law against you. So we have the untenable situation where the victims are doubly punished, by the law and by the witches

i think the problem with these colonial witchcraft laws is that they insist there is no witchcraft, but we all know there is witchcraft. Professor Gordon Chavunduka's project was how to use african means of identifying witchcraft and incorporate them into western legal systems imposed on us.

You can never rule out fate & randomness, but you can't but wonder whether players like Bukayo were overloaded, when their bodies were still not fully dvped, and now they are paying the price. Someone who appeared unbreakable is suffering repeated stress injuries can't just be reduced to chance.

as John crace put it in his column, " The organisers of the Reform party conference this weekend have banned some journalists from attending. Clearly you can have too much of a good thing."

Football has changed a lot since the 1990s. In this story Marcel Desailly said he wouldn't command a place as a defensive midfielder in today's game. Football has become "faster" and players have deeper "understanding of tactics" www.theguardian.com/football/202...
Marcel Desailly: ‘I don’t know if I was a star, but I’m now a legend’
The World Cup winner shows Jonathan Liew that he has a firm grip on the game’s pulse and praises those players taking on the right in his native France

i have been meaning to read "The Dead Are Arising: The Life of Malcolm X" by Les Payne & daughter Tamara. It took him ONLY 30 yrs to finish 🤔😉. He died before he could do it (Tamara used to accompany him when he interviewed peepo). It's sitting on my shelf; I should have a go at it this year.
