Fridays are a good point to wind down and reset expectations.

I planned to write over the Christmas break but never found the right window. That’s okay. I still worked a little because structure helps me feel steady. No pressure to catch up, just noticing what worked.

You don’t need the perfect explanation to get support.
Many people, especially ADHDers, know they need help but get stuck trying to explain it. Support doesn’t start with a flawless brief. It starts with noticing what feels heavy. Clarity can come later.

Your social media profile should clearly explain what you do and who you help.

That means plain language and relevant keywords, not vague or clever phrasing.

When your profile is clear, your content works harder for you and people know if you’re the right fit.

A simple posting rhythm changes everything.

One small shift that reduces social media stress is deciding the format in advance.
Same structure each week, only the topics change.

Less starting from scratch.
Fewer decisions.
Easier consistency.

Monday reminder: you don’t need to do everything today.
You just need to know what actually matters this week.

Merry Christmas to everyone creating a day that works for them... whether that means sparkly chaos, quiet rest, or skipping it all entirely. You deserve peace, however it comes.

Going offline to recharge. I’m giving myself a break from the pressure to post and letting things breathe for a bit.

If you need a rest too, take it, everything will still be here when we get back. 😊

The plan: write all day. The reality: adapt and adjust. Fridays are my writing days, but depending on client work or life, it doesn’t always go to plan. Creativity doesn’t need perfect consistency...just space, however it fits that week.

December looks different for everyone. Some are in full festive flow, others are quietly holding it together. There’s no right way to do this month, just the one that keeps your nervous system steady.

Midweek reminder: celebrate the small wins.

✅ Replied to that message you’d been avoiding
✅ Opened your inbox
✅ Posted something imperfect
✅ Took a guilt-free break

You’re still showing up, and that counts.

Creative brains aren’t bad at admin.
I’m both, creative and fairly organised. We’re all wired differently. Some thrive on structure, others on flow. I help ND and creative business owners find systems that fit their rhythm, not someone else’s.

When I started as a VA, I thought helping clients meant ticking more boxes. Now I know it’s about creating space — for clarity, focus, and meaningful work. Doing “less, better” doesn’t slow progress. It makes it sustainable. 💬 What could you do less of this week?
December 15, 2025 at 12:01 PM
Fridays are slower, and I usually spend some time writing. I’m working on my first non-fiction book and exploring self-publishing options. If you’re planning to publish your own book, Wired Differently can help with guidance to get things moving.

From next week I’ll start planning for clients over Christmas. Some keep posting, others slow down. Many self-employed don’t take a “normal” break at all. My job is to plan for every pace so things stay steady, whether it’s the quietest or busiest time of year.
December 11, 2025 at 12:03 PM
Midweek reset. I review client schedules, posts lined up, drafts ready, what’s next. Each client works at a different pace, so I adjust as I go. Then I check my own calendar to see what needs attention. Simple rhythm, steady week.

Running a business with ADHD? Build systems that work with you.
💡 Tips:
1️⃣ Make decisions once
2️⃣ Externalise ideas (Trello, wall planner)
3️⃣ Use momentum
4️⃣ Keep tools simple
5️⃣ Build support early

Which one helps you most?

The work that makes the biggest difference isn’t always visible. It’s the steady rhythm, posts going out on time, newsletters landing when they should, systems that make progress feel simple. Quiet consistency keeps things moving forward.

Writing for myself feels different. When there’s no deadline or brief, the words take longer to find. Client work has structure; personal writing asks for patience. I’m learning to trust that the words will come when they’re ready. Have a great weekend.
December 5, 2025 at 12:01 PM
Helping others communicate comes naturally. Posting for myself feels personal. I can plan and schedule for clients with ease, but my own content feels different. Maybe that’s the balance of creative work: strategy meets self. Do you find that too?
December 4, 2025 at 12:02 PM
What I’ve learned about ADHD: motivation follows interest, not obligation. It’s not a lack of discipline, it’s different wiring. The goal isn’t forcing consistency, it’s building systems that work with how the brain engages.

Productivity isn’t about doing more. It’s about finding the conditions where focus can actually happen. Some days that means quiet, other days a smaller task or change of scene. Ask, “What kind of focus do I have today?” The answer changes, and that’s okay.
December 2, 2025 at 12:02 PM
Stoicism and autism are both misunderstood. Neither is about lacking emotion, it’s about not being ruled by it. The “double empathy problem” goes both ways; people understand best within their own communication style. Sometimes peace is quiet.
December 1, 2025 at 12:02 PM
Fridays are my gentle days. I slow things down so I can think, plan and write without pressure. I keep the day free from client work because it’s my book-writing day. A slower end to the week always helps me start the next one feeling clearer. If you need a slower day too, take it.

Last week my internet dropped during a meeting and stayed off for more than a day. Working from home usually feels steady but sometimes things slip out of our control. A reminder that tech fails and we’re all human. If your week went off track too, you’re not alone.
November 27, 2025 at 12:01 PM
Sometimes the hardest part of creating content isn’t the writing. It’s deciding what to say. If the ideas feel slow today, you’re not alone. A little pause can help your clarity return. And if you ever want support with your content, I’m here to help.
