Maybe it's changed but when I was taking it to school a couple years ago they were regularly ancient

I would simply give the 45 buses made in the last century and put bulbs on the ave

ICE MUST appropriate $5 million worth of little note cards that say

"Sorry we killed your [SON AND/OR DAUGHTER] :("

They will be STRONGLY discouraged from writing "not!" below it.

Pacific Tower in Seattle (Formerly Amazon headquarters, formerly-formerly the Marine Hospital) was like this for a while but I never figured out why.

Just within 2 hrs or is there a loophole?
January 29, 2026 at 1:45 AM
Seems like yes but more restrictive than the current 2 hour window
January 29, 2026 at 1:04 AM
Did they have transfer slips or anything either?
January 29, 2026 at 12:47 AM
Honestly I don't think the 8 demand will be there once ST3 is done and you can just ride one station down to Westlake and transfer.

Four-minute headways in the core are going to be huge, I have *got* to move to take advantage of this
January 23, 2026 at 6:50 PM
Schumer's messaging is also just very poorly worded and delivered, regardless of the topic
January 20, 2026 at 8:27 PM
Hestra, if you can find them on sale somewhere. Kinco otherwise
January 19, 2026 at 2:13 AM
Please god just put us down already. Every second is a thousand lifetimes of humiliations
January 18, 2026 at 9:24 PM
What of we had a some kind of system that indicated drivers should stop their vehicles using lights? Alas... tis not so.
January 16, 2026 at 11:41 PM
Didn't UTA Frontrunner do it too?
January 15, 2026 at 8:36 PM
Yeah this is a complicated enough corridor to need some quality analysis and good plans. Just slapping down some curbside lanes would probably not help (you would hope they would already have them but oh well)
January 15, 2026 at 6:46 PM
Actually they paid many consultants a lot of money to tell them it's optimal to have the diction of a particularly dry schoolmaster and all the fire and vitality of a frigid corpse, so jot that down
January 15, 2026 at 6:26 PM
Vulgar Jacobsianism combined with planners' tendency to flop between bans and mandates?
January 15, 2026 at 12:58 AM
At a bare minimum it seems like we should be spending the same ~$15k a year we do once they're in school on 0-5s in some manner.
January 13, 2026 at 6:51 PM
This isn't even internally consistent, how is shooting the driver supposed to protect you if an SUV is accelerating in your direction? It's now entirely out of control and unpredictable, which is what happened! If he had been in actual danger (which he wasn't) it would have made it worse
January 9, 2026 at 8:18 PM
Yeah it's just a vile smear, but I haven't seen a single thing they've put out that justified killing someone even if they were true, which they aren't! They're about 3 seconds away from just saying they can shoot anyone that looks at them crossways
January 8, 2026 at 6:55 PM
If you accept the admin's justifications at face value I'm still pretty confused about how shooting her was supposed to "help," murdering the driver doesn't stop the car!
January 8, 2026 at 6:49 PM
I think it would actually suck if I got randomly assigned to Walmart or Target at birth and then they could kill or imprison me on a whim
January 4, 2026 at 9:23 PM
OK that's neat, almost feel like they should add a bit more detail and lean into it then
January 4, 2026 at 8:09 PM
If you dropped the tm and had the horse doing... something? Anything? This would be pretty cool
January 4, 2026 at 8:04 PM
Feel like you could take quite a few LatAm BRT systems and just swap out the double artics for trams
