I never doubted them for a second, but as a baby ARMY who decided to go all in with bangtan while they were all enlisted, I’m so relieved (in tears) they kept their promise.

Was anyone else comforted by how Namjoon was behind Yoongi? His stance seemed very protective to me. He’d massage Yoongi’s shoulders, place his hands on Yoongi’s arms. He basically had Yoongi cocooned the whole time while Yoongi leaned back.

This time last year, 9th May 2024, I had only known Bangtan for two months, and I was 2 days into finding proof that:
1. They were serious + committed to being a team.
2. They ALL truly, genuinely loved each other.
(I wasn’t committing to being an
ARMY till I found this proof)

After this happened the other night, I smiled softly and warmly at Hobi, grateful that he’s happy, then I looked around and saw the ARMY next to me crying. I turned to her and smiled, she smiled back, then said, “I can’t believe he’s real,” then carried on crying.

Watching In the SOOP for the nth time and noticed two back-to-back beautiful examples of BTS cultivating emotional safety with each other through acceptance when someone makes a ‘mistake’. No scolding, no stress. As if to say, it’s okay to be imperfect. These simple, soft, and human moments…
I just made myself cry from imagining the first BTS group hug after they’re all discharged, knowing they’ve overcome this period, still together, and still with us, leaving the past behind them and with so much of the future yet to come.
