The Ko'jua Okuom in the Killam Library will be closed from Monday, October 27, to Friday, November 7, to facilitate a ventilation upgrade that will enable on-demand smudging in the room. This welcome upgrade is a milestone for this valued Indigenous event space on campus.

🏳️‍🌈 As we celebrate Pride, we honour the first Halifax Pride march held on July 1, 1988 — a protest for rights, safety, and visibility. What began with 75 people has grown into Atlantic Canada’s largest Pride Festival and one of the oldest in Canada. Have a safe and joyful Pride!
